It's Soccer Season

The Seattle Sounders FC kicked off their season Thursday against the Philadelphia Union which is the latest team to enter the MLS. This season we have tickets with my parents which should make it fun to go to games with someone you know other than the fans that we got to know in our section last year.

While the game was played in a complete downpour of "Seattle Sunshine" as some would call it the Sounders pulled out a 2-0 win in front of a sell out crowd of 36,000+ people. A great way to start of the season. Here's hoping the next game will be played in better weather :)

The art of backing

One of the many things that Odin has had to learn to do while getting ready for competing in the upcoming Hunt Tests in his quest to earn his Senior Hunter title is learning how to back or honor another dog when they have found the bird first. We've been working on this for a few weeks now and this weekend Odin showed us that this hard work has paid off as he backed Oscar, an Irish Setter while working a field. Here is a pic of Odin backing and the rest can be found on our flickr site.

Spring Is In The Air

Spring is coming!!

Can't Sleep

I’m pretty sure these notebooks were made for people like me who can hardly get the *proper 7-8 hours of sleep of a night (*according to my health magazines). 5 hours and I’m lucky. Does anyone have time to sleep these days? Anyone?

Odin Turns 2

Yesterday we celebrated Odin's 2nd birthday by getting his OFA Certification of his hips and elbows both came back good ot excellent so we will see what AKC says and then this will information will be added to his pedigree.

After his exam we headed down to the trainer for more bird hunting training as Hunt Testing for Odin's Senior Hunter title starts May 1st. After a long fay of retrieving training and playing with one of his favorite people, Richard we headed home and let Odin have his last surprise- a peanut butter covered milk bone.

Happy 2nd Birthday Odin!
