Seattle Sounders FC-Opening Game

Thursday we headed to the opening game of the inaugural season of the Seattle Sounders FC MLS team. Being that Ben is a huge soccer fan and has been hoping that a MLS team would come to Seattle at some point and the fact that I surprised him with a very early birthday present of season tickets in section 113, row P he couldn't have been happier that night.

All of the owners of the team made an appearance including Drew Carey. The team played a great game against the NY Red Bulls and ended up winning 3-0. Can't wait for the next game and the rest of the season. Here are a few pics from the game. The rest can be found on flickr.

Happy Birthday Odin!

This past Friday, March 13th, was Odin's 1st Birthday which means he has been with us for a bit over 10 months. He has grown physically from less than 10 pounds when we first brought him home to about 40 pounds now. And he has gone from needing constant attention from us, to providing constant companionship to us. He brings life to our house and joy to our lives.
